hi. i'm chris.
I'm a dynamic software engineer/computer scientist/mathematician pursuing an ScB in CS and an ScB in Math at Brown University. I entered college with the intention of becoming an electrical engineer but soon fell in love with computer systems, algorithms, modern algebra, and all of the intriguing ways they converge.
Here's my Resume.
I'm intrigued by and have experience working in payments technology, more specifically the applications of cryptography, computer systems, and microservices architecture that go into developing scalable, secure, and quick payments services. As for academic interests, I'm passionate about cryptography, algorithms, and algebra. Post-grad plans include entering the workforce, applying to PhDs, or moving to Switzerland. This fall I'm:
  • Taking Cryptography (CSCI 1510), Algorithms (CSCI 1570), Networks (CSCI 1680), and Real Analysis I (MATH 1630)
  • TA'ing Abstract Algebra (MATH 1530)
This spring I will be:
  • Taking Stats II (APMA 1660), Algorithmic ML (CSCI 1520), Systems Security (CSCI 1660), Probabilistic Algos (CSCI 2540), and Real Analysis II (MATH 1640)
This summer I will be:
  • Interning at Microsoft in Redmond, WA.
